Andrew Mwasi is the managing partner of the firm.
He is a seasoned conveyancing and commercial law practitioner having represented financial institutions, private entities and individuals with diverse interests.
He has a strong bias for commercial contract negotiations.
Prior to establishing Mwasi & Company Advocates, Andrew was a Senior Associate at Sheikh & Company Advocates. He also practiced as a Senior Associate with the firm of Mamicha & Company Advocates.
His practice knowledge in real estate continues to be indispensable to the firm.
As a conveyancing practitioner, Andrew has led a team acting for various real estate developers and advised on project finance, governance structure, procuring tax exemptions and drafting transactional documents. He has successfully represented clients in the sale and transfer of properties situated in various parts of the country. The cumulative transaction values of these matters are in billions of Kenya Shillings.
He also advises on regional tax administration matters, Employment law and Legal & Corporate Governance.
His law practice also focuses on Charitable and Not-For-Profit Organizations including Charitable Trusts, NGOs, Societies, the requisite process of registration, tax obligations and other compliance requirements.
Andrew is a Commissioner for Oaths and Notary Public as well.
