Our approach to dispute resolution is that the court is the last option and employing dispute resolution strategies is worth exploring before diving into full-blown litigation. We understand our clients’ need to have minimal disruption in their businesses and have commercial business relationships maintained while resolving disputes.
Court-annexed mediation has been a welcomed mechanism in arriving at out-of-court settlements of disputes. This is where the court appoints a mediator to try and determine a matter within 60 days and upon reaching consensus the parties draft and execute a settlement agreement for filing in court. Our team has achieved success in this respect.
